As the bustling and shifting energies of autumn continues to move through, fire from summer shifting inward for focus, the equinox and events forthcoming, I am trying my best to stay attuned to this energetic, this pranic shift with awe and my why in my heart. Truly. How we continue to support ourselves in meeting the moments, the days. Ringing true for me- the way forward is through. With a trusting that life offers us what is meant for our path, even if we have resistance, aversion, doubt, excitement, preference, and the like. The way forward is through.
Gift yourself permission to pause. Adjust your posture to support all of you. Alert & Kind. Begin an intentional focus toward your life giving breath. Witness here your rhythm. Just as it is. Trust yourself to drop into this moment and take in the breath, allow your body's intelligence to inform you from the objective felt sense. The truthfulness or satya that is revealed in your breath, your nervous system, your energetic body. Tune toward the gunas within you. Should you find yourself more energized, more rushing forward, perhaps a tone of anxiousness or restlessness– more rajasic- explore deepening your exhalations. And if fatigue, apathy, disinterest, or a downward tone emerges for you- more tamasic- explore expanding your inhale. Perhaps your feeling at present exists somewhere along this spectrum. See how you might find a glimpse toward a more balance, or more sattvic state. Practice, not perfection. Listening & responding in kind.
Shifts can take time, and in the eyes of yoga, each state of the gunas- rajas, tamas, and sattva, are simply states we move through. Not better or worse. Like nature, may we not judge- but cultivate our discernment, or wisdom as we explore a shifting energies. As we continue to build our window of capacity for all that life is asking of us, may we take time to further refine our relationship with self. Drawing upon inward strength, and courage to move through. Refine your discernment, by meeting the moments, steady, small ways, small actions each day. Practices this week are for supporting you, for exploring and refining your skills in relationship you have with self. And to feel into the aliveness of the senses, the season, the elements all around us. Reconnecting to life.

Lets lean in this week. In my offerings, whether the strength that comes from more still practices that meet tension or resistance. Flowing practices, more gently or more vigor. Tuning to the senses, the elements in nature. We've got this. The way forward is through.
