Potential. Pace. Embrace. Tending your garden of Spring.
March 25, 2024
Hello dear seekers,
I am writing to you today with that combined nervousness, eagerness, excitement, anticipation. I feel this in my belly, some tingling on the skin, and with a smile. A deep sigh waves over my lungs and heart. I bring these words to blog from my new website, my new flowerbed, my new space. It feels like spring- vulnerable, messy, imperfect, eager and full of potential. I am pleased to be living my values of done is better than perfect, all the while listening to my parts that are scared, protective, some that yearn to give, or that yearn to be.
Cue my morning walk as I took in the brisk air behind tired eyes, a body not quite ready, less enthusiasm than I'd prefer, but with a glimpse of my inner knowing, an inner trust the benefits would come. To move and breathe. Steady. Dull. All the shades and in service to my fur-baby and future responsibilities. Then this neighboring foliage caught my eye.
What do you see when you take in the foliage of spring from the above image? How does your body respond? React? Does it bring you to wanting to take action? Is there a feeling of overwhelm or dislike? Do you see beauty in the uniqueness? Maybe there is little to no response? There is no right way, simply your way to be with what you take in. My big take away is- What is the potential? Can you embrace the possibility of what is living in this garden? Can you pace your action with care and discernment so that this garden may best nourish and thrive, even if pruning maybe necessary?
With nature as teacher, I find this to be a metaphor for not only a way to be with our internal landscape, but also in witnessing other lives on their individual paths we interact with in the world.
Internally- the parts within us growing at different paces, some shining & ready to blossom, whilst others yearn for more space.
In the world, folks eager to push forth their potential from a long winter, some taking their sweet time, others in deep struggle may not be able to rise just yet. Each unique life impacted by terrain and circumstance of the soil in which they are growing.
Compassion for all parts and lives that are seeking to thrive. With the freshness of a beginners mind, but with more resource and wisdom in care for your wellness - How will you you treat the potential of your garden?
Potential. Pace. and Embrace as you tend your spring garden. Here with you in practice. And in love & light.
